Trump has shutdown the U.S. government for 20 days, 800.000 workers have not been paid and he says that the government shutdown can last for years if he doesn't get $5.7 Billion in federal funds for the U.S.-Mexican wall, a wall he lied about the funding for during the 2016 Presidential Campaign. It is probably not the best move to shutdown museums if you want to attract tourists to your country.

Representatives from The Norwegian Center for Studies of the Holocaust and Religious Minorities tried to enter a New York exhibition on Indians yesterday and was not able to enter because of the U.S. government shutdown.

Customs and Border Protection agents clashed yesterday with Central American refugees who reportedly bypassed a Mexican police blockade to rush toward a U.S. crossing that leads to San Diego. Officers fired tear gas to repel the migrants from the border fence, causing some to fall and smoke to waft into Mexico.

Senator Brian Schatz, Democrat of Hawaii, writing on Twitter, said "Tear gas across the border against unarmed families is a new low." and "Anyone uncomfortable with spraying tear gas on children is welcome to join the coalition of the moral and the sane. We can argue about other stuff when we've got our country back."

In 2017, Donald Trump signed an executive order to expand the border wall with Mexico and increase the building of detention centers. A memo from top Homeland Security officials published in 2017 outlines the goal to detain 85,000 illegal immigrants per day. Private prison companies benefit from Trump's strict stance on illegal immigrants because they are paid per inmate per day.

All Immigration Detention Centers in the U.S. must free immigrants.

Several of the detention centers housing immigrants are operated by private corporations who have contracts with ICE.

The Varick Federal Detention Facility in Manhattan is one of these privatized detention centers.

Several human rights organizations, including Amnesty International and the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), and a series of reports made by the New York Times have cited concerns with ICE's management of these detention centers. Reports refer to instances of human rights abuse and inadequate or unprofessional medical care in these detention facilities. Such reports have also publicized the death of several immigrants in detention and have accused ICE of covering up this information. ICE, in response, has released a list of 166 people who died under ICE detention between 2003-2016.

ICE must free immigrants from these detention centers immediately.

The next US president Trump tries to prevent natural economic competition using classical and uneconomical, nationalist and political protection of businesses that would naturally want to flag out from the United States.

National economic protection have historically not resulted in any economic progress in nations that have focused on economic protection and political micromanagement of private companies.

Political governance and ownership in enterprises has previously led to 2 World Wars after the escalation of problems resulting from attempts of political management and control of natural economic processes and economic activity.
